For decades, The Radio Daddio has been a familiar face and voice on Chicago area radio and TV. Now, in his 5th decade on the air, Dave Allen brings his unique slant on current events and his quick wit to the Laird Broadcasting Company's central Wisconsin ABC affiliate, broadcasting on FM92.7, WDUX.

The Radio Daddio started his long broadcasting career in 1966 as the intern and "record turner" of legendary Chicago broadcaster Howard Miller. After doing the Chicago media circuit for more than 3 decades, Allen thought it might be a good time to hang up his shingle and retire in beautiful Waupaca, Wisconsin.

The best laid plans of mice and men, right? After a couple years of being footloose and fancy free, Allen found himself being recruited by WDUX in 2001 and now, here he is: spinning the best of the 80s, 90s and today into the 21st century!

"I've been doing it for over 40 years and, by golly, I'll keep on doing it until I get it right!"

Now, before all you young ladies get any ideas about this incredible hunk, The Radio Daddio has been happily modulated since 1995. The lucky lady is a church organist. Rock n Rock & Rock of Ages -- talk about your odd couple!

Allen has a Masters in theoretical physics and is a Meteorologist. Maybe he'd be better at his job if he actually studied broadcasting!
